Personal Information:
Peter Henry was born 22 July 1916 in St. Pancras, the only son of Charles Henry Thomas (1865-1946) and his partner Amy Reffell (1877-1966). Amy was the fifth daughter of Henry Reffell & Sarah Morton.

On 24 April 1944, BZ759 ‘LP’ took off for a final navigation flight dubbed the ‘Kingsley Exercise’, but unfortunately, the aircraft failed to return.

Bahamas. The aircraft was delivered to the USAAF on 2 April 1943 as USAAF B-24D-75-CO s/n 42-40590. On the 25 May it was handed over to the Royal Air Force Coastal Command for navigational training.
