Over the years Reffells Bexley Brewery Ltd. acquired a number of public houses in the local area and set about expanding and modernising them. At the time of the brewery closure there were nineteen that were sold to Courage, including the following.

- Red Moon, Bexleyheath
- The Woodman, Blackfen (now the George Staples)
